Apples & Honey Challah for a Sweet New Year

AJCC Adult Director and Culinary Whiz, Eve Lunt, will demonstrate how to prepare a deliciously sweet round challah for your Break Fast, or any other special occasion when a regular challah just isn’t enough. There will be samples to nosh on and a recipe to take home.

An Article of Hope
Wednesday, October 20, 7pm
This hour-long film explores the journey of the fated Space Shuttle Columbia and the seven astronauts including Israel’s first astronaut Col. Ilan Ramon. Ramon carried a tiny Torah on the mission, a Torah that held a special story of its own. Combining historical and ethical inquiry, the film reaches across faiths and nationalities to tell a truly human story.
