The Pauline & Zena Gatov Gallery Presents
David Fox
Looking Outward, Looking Inward

September 7-October 7

Gallery Hours: Mon-Sunday, 10am-6pm
Admission is free and the public is welcome to attend.

Dave Fox, a painter & printmaker for over 60 years, has captured the people & places in & around Los Angeles since the late 1940s. He was born in Vienna, Austria in 1920 & fled the country in 1938 after the German Annexation. In 1939 he arrived in L.A. & received his Master of Fine Arts degree from Cal. State Fullerton. Mr. Fox still paints every day at nearly ninety-years of age. This exhibit is a reflection of his lifes observations, but is also influenced by his life in Vienna. While he looks outward to find his subjects, he continually reflects inward about the life he had in Jewish Vienna.
