 A Group for New Mothers
From the Beginning
Transitioning your family when a new baby arrives is an exciting and challenging journey. Come share your joys and challenges with others in a supportive environment. You’ll meet new friends and discover ways to spend quality time with those you love while accomplishing tasks. Facilitator, Sandy Michaels, is a mother of two and a teacher.
The Fall 2010 group begins Wed, Sept. 8, 9:30am
Pre-registration is suggested. This group is specifically for mothers with their infants who are newborn to crawling. |

Look What's Happening
in the ECE Program
The AJCC joins over 50 other JCCs from all over North America who have already been using an extraordinary program called, An Ethical Start®, This exciting initiative is from the JCC Association, it is designed to bring Jewish ethical teachings into JCC preschool classrooms. |
An Ethical Start's® curriculum is based on Pirkei Avot, Ethics of the Fathers (and Mothers!). This classic text, which contains practical advice for daily living, has been studied for almost two thousand years. An Ethical Start® makes learning the ethical dimensions of Judaism fun and accessible with Peer K. Explorer® and his study partner Dafna® - the irresistible, adventurous characters who appear in the program's music, books, and more.
