Why People Love Us
It is first class. Great gym, health and athletic programs; great school for children; great environment for arts and spirituality; great staff; great pool and activities; and convenient location!
When I became a new mother, the JCC welcomed our family as part of the ECE. I have seen my daughter move through the ECE and graduate from the Pre-K program building strong relationships with her classmates and teachers. Now, in Kid's University (the after-school program upstairs), I see the continuity of the same values that we experienced in the ECE. They value connection and community.
As a preschooler, our son was eager to experience all of the options that the JCC had to offer. This year he took an array of different classes, including Spanish, yoga, Karate, art, music, and gardening.
Our family also enjoys the swimming pool, basketball court, and fitness options!
I highly recommend the Alpert JCC!
I would like to inquire about joining the JCCA in Long Beach. I can be reached at (424) 241-2146; I tried the AJCC website for the membership, but my computer is not working correctly. Rosemary Margaret (Myers) Mrazik (Cobb). PS, I am thinking about moving back to Chesterfield, Missouri.
This year my friend Mitchell Troy invited ME to Celebrate Passover For The First Night which was being held by Rabbi Abba Perelmuter from Shul By The Shore at the Alpert Jewish Community Center in Long Beach, California.
The service was quite nice and inspiring with plenty of songs to sing, light entertainment by the children and plenty of delicious Passover Food and Many Happy Faces To Go Around.
I want to personally Thank Mitchell Troy for inviting ME there back on Friday, March 30, 2018.
I want to also personally Thank Rabbi Abba Perelmuter and his staff for putting on a Fantastic Passover Seder Meal and Celebration!
