Jewish Long Beach and the Alpert JCC are pleased to announce that the boards of both agencies have voted to integrate, creating a single, seamless organization positioned to serve our Jewish and broader communities for generations to come.

The integration process signals the dawn of an exciting and unprecedented new era for our Jewish community and its agencies. The Alpert JCC and Jewish Long Beach will become uniquely positioned to set and adjust community priorities while creating impact-driven programming, education, grant funding, leadership development, and advocacy opportunities designed to advance Jewish life in a manner that is not only deeply effective but also efficient and sustainable for the long term.

Incorporated in 1948 as the Long Beach Jewish Community Council, Jewish Long Beach is proud of our long history of ensuring that Jewish life thrives and advances in our local community and throughout the world. By building bridges across Long Beach, West Orange County, Israel, and beyond, we work to secure a Jewish future from generation to generation.

The Alpert JCC brings the community together by providing state-of-the-art facilities, and exceptional programs, in an inclusive environment defined by Jewish values and culture. We have everything you need under one roof for those 0 – 100. A membership at the J gives you and your family access to our diverse programs and SERVICES, and connects you with the incredible, welcoming people who make up our community.
