Do you love to dance as a form of exercise? Then this is the specialty class for you. Join Cindi as you learn more dances, become more confident in your dancing and meet some fun people while you do it! All levels are welcome but we do have specific classes for your experience. COUNTRY WESTERN DANCE CLASSES

Mondays – Aug. 3, 10, 17, 24, 31, Sept. 14, 21 (Sign up for 6wk series or drop-in 1 class)

6:00pm: Line Dance 1/2 – Beginner / High Beginner

7:00pm: Line Dance 2/3 – Easy Intermediate / Intermediate

 

Held outdoors, masks required.

No Classes Sept. 7, 28 due to holidays

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

Line Dance 1- Beginner Basics

For newcomers or for those wanting to come back to dance after taking time off. We will teach all the basics steps and basic dances not to exceed 32 steps.

Line Dance 2- Beginner/Easy Intermediate

SOME EXPERIENCE HELPFUL. This class is for the long-term beginners that want some new dances and a little challenge. Dances will have more difficult combinations of steps, from 32-64 counts.

Line Dance 3- Intermediate

SOME EXPERIENCE NECESSARY. For the somewhat experienced Line Dancer. Students will be expected to memorize longer dances and be able to turn frequently (options offered for those uncomfortable with turns). Dances will usually have 48 or 64 counts and maybe phrased dances.

Partner Dance

Two-Step, Cowboy Cha Cha, Denver Cha Cha, California Cha Cha, Sweetheart Schottische, Horseshoe, Texas Time, etc. Each week we will learn a new pattern for the Two-Step and one choreographed dance. You do not have to bring your own partner.

Line Dance Party

All Levels: Join us for a line dance party! Designed for both the beginners and more experienced line dancers, this party will feature dances taught in the classes as well as requested popular dances. This class will be all dancing with minimal instruction. Refreshments will be served!
