IN PERSON CLASSES AT THE J

VIRTUAL ZOOM CLASSES

GROUP FITNESS CLASSES REQUIRE A RESERVATION ON OUR MY J APP!

Reservations are required to use our fitness studios, lap swim, basketball, and ALL group exercise classes. Getting set up is easy! All you need is the email and password associated with your Alpert JCC membership account.

 

Not a member? No problem.

You can still get access to some free weekly classes and have the option to purchase 1 class at a time or save with a 12 pack!

VIRTUAL GROUP FITNESS

Yoga with Kristina | VIRTUAL

You will need: yoga mat, OPTIONAL 2 yoga blocks, A foam wedge if you have wrist issues, Strap (belt, robe strap), Folded towel or blanket

 

Kickboxing with Tami | VIRTUAL

You will need: nothing but your body

 

Silver Sneakers Circuit with Cindi | VIRTUAL

You will need water, a chair, hand-weights, a resistance band, and a small ball (or squishy object). Equipment optional can modify if not available. This class is done mostly standing.

 

Silver Sneakers Classic with Cindi | VIRTUAL

You will need water, a chair, hand-weights, a resistance band, and a small ball (or squishy object). Equipment optional can modify if not available. This class is done mostly seated.

 

Silver Sneakers Circuit with Leonor | VIRTUAL

You will need water, a chair, hand-weights, a resistance band, and a small ball (or squishy object). Equipment optional can modify if not available. This class is done mostly standing.

 

Zumba Gold with Ellen | VIRTUAL

You will need: water a towel and a smile

Strength Training with Elsie | VIRTUAL

You will need: hand-weights, mat (If you don’t have weights, it’s OK we will modify)

 

Stretch Out Stress Yoga with Kristina | VIRTUAL

You will need: yoga mat, OPTIONAL 2 yoga blocks, A foam wedge if you have wrist issues, Strap (belt, robe strap), Folded towel or blanket

 

Guided Meditation with Matthew | VIRTUAL

You will need: a seat or pillow for meditation

 

Gentle Yoga with Matthew| VIRTUAL

You will need: Mat and prop (a block, pillow, or folded towel)

 

Total Body Fusion with Tami | VIRTUAL

You will need a mat, weights, or something to use as a weight. (canned foods) etc.

 

Mat Pilates with Elsie | VIRTUAL

You will need: a Yoga Mat or any mat

Spinning with Kristina and Nichole | IN PERSON 

Experience a challenging, exhilarating workout. Knowledgeable, certified spinning instructors—the core of spinning—ensure the riders enjoy the journey. *Spin classes start precisely at their listed start time. Please plan to arrive early to class for bike setup.

 

Low-N-Sculpt with Nichole | IN PERSON 

This low-impact aerobics class combines 30 minutes of cardio with 30 minutes of resistance exercises using hand-held weights and rubberized tubing.

 

Aqua Aerobics with Genevieve | IN PERSON 

Tone and sculpt your body with no impact on your joints in this lively class. This class is a blend of cardio and resistance, the movements are easy on your joints and challenging enough to help you reach new levels of fitness.

 

Zumba with Ellen | IN PERSON

The ONLY Latin-inspired dance fitness program that blends high energy Latin and international beats to help tone and sculpt the body, while having fun!

 

Silver Sneakers Combo with Leonor | IN PERSON

Come join the fun! This class is a blend of circuit (standing) and classic (seated) movements. You will need: resistance band and a small squishy ball

  • Effective 10/18/21: ALL IN-PERSON PARTICIPANTS ARE REQUIRED TO BE FULLY VACCINATED AGAINST COVID-19. Learn more here.
  • Please continue to arrive 10 minutes in advance of your reserved time to check-in.
  • Masks are optional while OUTDOORS.
  • Masks are still required while INDOORS.
  • * The fitness center and the fitness center classes are for ages 13yrs and over. There is a mandatory orientation for ages 13-17yrs that MUST be completed prior to using our fitness center and fitness classes.
  • To manage your reservations, you can download the app on your smartphone or reserve from your desktop!

All no-shows and late cancellations within 8 hours of the class will incur a $10 no-show fee. This fee will be deducted directly from the credit card or bank account associated with your membership account.

  • Please pin your instructors so you can see the instructor video as the largest box. Here’s how:
    • On the computer, you click the 3 dots and choose “pin video”
    • On iPad click the instructor box 2x
  • The instructor will mute all when class begins. If you have questions or comments during the class, please use the chatbox on the bottom of the screen to speak with the instructor. Please note there is a private and public option.
