Power Yoga is back! Power Yoga is an athletic meditation in motion. It is both a physical and mental exercise, encompassing all components of fitness — strength, cardiovascular, flexibility, balance, and endurance. This full-body workout will burn more calories than a traditional yoga class, therefore helping in weight loss and toning.
Come join Dr. Javit on a physical, emotional, and spiritual journey that starts with the very first step of strengthening your body. Learn how to eat food that becomes the building blocks of your ‘body as a temple’, engage in more movement to become fitter, more energetic, and better prepared for the activities you love, and sleep sounder to recharge your batteries for more exciting days ahead. All sessions of this 4-part series will incorporate the latest research, didactic teaching, meditation, visualization, journaling, philosophy, humor, reflection, and time-efficient daily practices. This way you can experience your very own ascent to your highest self while still keeping your feet firmly planted here on earth.
In the Chakra Yoga Flow, each week the sequence will focus on each chakra, starting from the bottom working our way up. The aim of the practice is to get our energy flowing and to bring awareness to our mind-body connection. Noticing any stiffness, blockages, or stagnant energy in our body and through yoga, allowing that energy to flow freely. Participants will receive an E-BOOK that dives deeper into explaining each chakra. The E-book includes: journal prompts, affirmations, and suggested activities and/or practices to connect deeper with each chakra into your day-to-day life. It is designed for you to work on one chakra per week.
Who doesn’t need self-care right now? Join skincare therapist, Rachel Van Raalte for an interactive and in-depth series of workshops on all things skincare. Each session will cover different skincare topics and will be customized to address the specific needs and concerns of participants. After completing this course, you will have a toolkit full of knowledge and techniques to best care for your skin. You won’t want to miss this fun and informative course! Recommended for teen skin through aging skin and everything in between.

- For the safety of our members and staff, it’s required to wear a mask during all fitness classes.
- Every member and non-member MUST complete the Health Check Questionnaire before coming to the J in an effort to speed up the check-in process. Once you complete the questionnaire, you will receive a confirmation email with a pass or no pass, depending on your answers. Please add email@example.com to your email contact list to avoid your confirmation email being sent to your junk mail. Once you get to the J, just show us your email, we’ll take your temperature, and we’ll give you the Health Check Sticker!
