Our Largest Rental for up to 300 Guests

The Lipeles Family Auditorium is waiting to be transformed into your special event. As our largest rental it can seat up to 300 guests with ease. Choose to have us set up with the whole event or bring your own extras! Bring your own licensed bartender or caterer! See our add ons and enjoy the flexibility that comes with planning your event at the Alpert JCC!

The Schulman/Stuhlbarg Senior Assembly is a medium size room for a variety of special occasions, lots of space to create your dream event! Conveniently located near our full kitchen, this is a great place to host your event, especially when delicious food is involved!

Perfect for: Bar or Bat Mitzvah, receptions, community events, large meetings, birthday parties, lectures and more!

Full Gymnasium Rental

The Feldman Family Gymnasium is ready to rent! Are you a sports league that needs a location to play and practice? Would you like to have a basketball themed birthday party? Whatever reason you might need a full Gym we have a beautifully renovated top of the line Gymnasium for you.

The Lessin-Wohlstatter Multi-Purpose Room is a great option to host your meetings and small gatherings. This is an affordable place to meet with your team or hold a small gathering for any purpose.

Board Room with Amenities

The Barrad Family Boardroom is the perfect atmosphere to hold a professional meeting or group gathering. Have an important presentation? This might be just the place to meet with your colleagues.  This room has access to coffee and kitchenette, as well as a projector and screen for visuals.

  • Rate: $150.00 for 40 guests
  • Refundable Deposit: $45

Outdoor Courtyard Rental

Max Capacity: 60

The Lipeles Family Courtyard is a large covered outdoor space, perfect for activities that are best enjoyed out in the open. This particular location can be rented in tandem with other indoor rooms to provide both indoor and outdoor space.

The Mary Alpert Pool is our Olympic size pool is the perfect place to have a party for water lovers! Does your kiddo love the water? This would be a great place to plan their next birthday or special event.

Member Only Rental

  • Rate: $95/hr (2 hour minimum) for 40 people max

FAQ

The J is open to all people regardless of race or religion.

You may authorize a checking account withdrawal or credit card or debit card charge of equal installments monthly, bi-monthly, or quarterly commencing on your join date or in the month of your renewal.

The Jewish Community Center will not deny anyone membership because of inability to pay the established dues. All requests for fee adjustments are considered on an individual basis with complete confidentiality. To apply please contact Aaron Wiggs at (562) 426-7601 x1714.

The J is a pluralistic Jewish Community Center that serves the needs of the entire community. We are open to people of all faiths and backgrounds. As a community center, we offer a newly renovated fitness facility, excellent youth programs, cultural arts events for all ages, adult Jewish learning programs, senior adult activities and much more!

Members of The J are able to bring as many guests as they would like! Members may purchase daily guest passes – $5 per child 12 and under/$10 per person 13 and over – at the Courtesy Desk. The fitness center is open to all JCC members 13 years of age and older. Members 13 – 17 years of age must take mandatory fitness orientation with a fitness instructor. An appointment can be made at the courtesy desk.
