Our community of dedicated coaches and instructers are here to help your child gain new skills. Whether they want to rule the Mary Alpert Pool or compete in the Maccabi Games, the Alpert JCC is a great place to get active!
On top of gaining new skills, we help children and teens develop better social skills and cultivate a sense of teamwork. We want to give them a sense of belonging and a chance to make new friends!

Registration to be part of Team Long for the 2020 JCC Maccabi Games and Artsfest (R) in San Diego, Ca is now open! Jewish teens between the ages of 13-17 are encouraged to sign up to be part of the Games or ArtsFest!

Through Martial Arts training with Sensei Mac, you and/or your child will build confidence and self-esteem, while learning self-discipline, respect, concentration and courtesy. It also gives one the ability to flourish in an activity, while combining physical and mental practices. The different classes from which to choose are:

- Mixed Martial Arts/Self Defense

Up Your Game with Pete Davis Basketball Leauge
In partnership with the Pete Davis Youth Basketball League, our mission is to provide families of the Long Beach community youth basketball programs that contribute to the sound development of young people of all genders, religions and ethnicities. The Vision of Pete Davis Basketball is to offer an elite developmental youth basketball experience designed to teach sound basketball fundamentals, good sportsmanship, partnership with families and teamwork.
